PhotoHunt
This week’s photo hunt theme is rocks. Hubby felt an inspiration to surprise me with three rock ‘brooks’ that he created flowing down our rockery after visiting a Japanese garden. This brook falls at about a 45 degree angle, but it’s hard to tell that in the picture. I loved them. Now they are covered with salal, but when the weather cools we hope to do some clearing to uncover our ‘brooks’ again. These dry brooks are better than having a water fall which we’ve always imagined in their place. We don’t have to worry about mosquitos, or upkeep, except for clearing.

What an amazing husband you have. I love your “brook”!
I have mine up…not as interesting as yours but it’s up.
Also if I may be so bold to ask…I’ve entered a photo contest and while you are over visiting would you please vote for me? It would be greatly appreciated.
Have a great rest of your weekend.

It was quite a surprise when he did it. I was gone that weekend. We look out at this from our bedroom. It added an ineresting focus to our view.
